Still Working Hard - What about OpenSocial?

We’re still working hard on getting miaMessage up and running. We ran into more slow downs with our programmers. However, I’ve decided to take over the programming myself and so I hope to get this thing finished soon. I’ll do my best, but I do want to make sure it’s a solid app before I release it to the public.

While I’m still planning to work hard on getting the miaMessage Facebook app out into the public, I’m also excited to read about Google’s new OpenSocial. Here’s Techcunch’s coverage of some of the features. I expect that after we’ve got a stable facebook application and Google gets its Open Social application working with all of its partners that we could pretty easily expand miaMessage into it. Anything to drive more traffic to the miaMessage content producers is great.

On that note, if you are a content producer and are interested in getting your quality content out to masses of people, then let me know. We’re definitely looking to partner with people who own great content and just need a system that will allow them to get their content out to a mass audience and share in the monetization of that content. A lot more details to work out on that, but drop us a line if you are interested in talking about the possibilities.

We’re Almost There

We’ve been working hard on finishing up miaMessage. It’s taken us a little longer to develop than we originally anticipated. Ok, so the real problem is that there are so many features that we want to add that it just takes longer. However, once we launch we expect to have something pretty cool for all to use.

I don’t want to let out the secret too much, but the facebook application is currently the core of this idea. We’re hoping that we can spread it quickly throughout the facebook social grid. However, we don’t want to roll it out until we’re sure that everything will be working for our users.

I’m told that the facebook application should be done today. Then, I’ll probably need a couple days to test it out and add anything that’s missing. Then, we’ll be all systems go. I’m so excited to see how a facebook application can spread.

Welcome to miaMessage!

Welcome to the miaMessage blog! We have a lot of exciting plans for miaMessage and we plan on announcing it all right here. Our first step is to roll out what we believe is a really innovative facebook application. Ok, so is there such a thing as an innovation facebook application? Let’s just say we have a pretty neat twist on some pretty popular facebook applications. I think I’ll leave it at that for now.

We’re planning on trying to release the first version of the facebook app in the next week or two. Hopefully we can get it to spread virally through facebook. However, the first version is really just a preview of coming attractions.

I also want to acknowledge Cambrian House, which has really made this application possible. Cambrian House is a very unique site that has a really interesting community of users. You can find me on there as techguy.
